There is a guy over on the ST 1300 forum from Florida, who rides a lot of miles. I mean a lot of miles. He's of course leading the ST forum Mileage Tracker with 48,108 miles for the year so far and his 06 ST 1300 is about to turn over 400,000 miles in the near future. As of today's ride, he's at 393,203 miles, so I'd say by Christmas he will hit the 400K mark on his bike nicknamed "The Black Pearl".

Must ride almost every day, plenty of longer distance, commuting a lot or a combination of these.
Also Southern states are more weather friendly than here in North, helluva miles anyhow =

That’s a lot of seat time for both of them.

It’s possible to become too one dimensional. That’s a lot of time dedicated to ONE thing in your life. I can see that working for someone who is single. No existing long term relationships and if there is one the person(s) shares this passion. No children/grandchildren.
I LOVE to fly fish. It’s one of several hobbies I pursue on a consistent basis. I have a friend, not close, who is consumed with it. I can only take him in small doses.
Variety is the spice of life and all that jive.

I feel like I've ridden quite a bit this year. Rough estimate:
9000 miles / 282 days as of 10/9/23 = 31.9 miles per day.
Me:
But this guy...48,108 miles for the year / 282 days as today = 170.6 miles per day.

I hope to up my riding coverage in my twilight years, give or take a bunch.
I suspect nothing quite like the above figures though - unless I live somewhere in the lower U.S. states.
