this week's the weather has been whacky. Hot, humid, pop up very isolated rain cells every day

Twice this week I got under a pop us rain cell, and got drenched 2 miles later and it was dry as a bone

right now it's bright sunny, almost 90 degrees and humid with predicted yep pop up rain cells

The weather has been whacky lately. Ferret, not sure where you are in Ohio, but I just came back from working a week at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk. We stayed in Milan, and it could be raining at the hotel and not at the track, and vice-versa. Hot and muggy for the race. But, wouldn't you know it, when we went back Monday morning to load the trailers, it was cool, breezy and perfect.

I have managed to make a little cash on the weather actually... most of our flights go through Dallas, which has been wracked with weird weather, causing all kinds of delays. On the flight to Ohio, we were texting back and forth to each other on the plane. Went something like this:

"Ten bucks says we'll have a ground stop on the tarmac before we get to the runway."
After a long ground stop... "Ten more bucks says we have to go back to the gate for more fuel."
"Ten more bucks says we won't get out of Dallas till midnight."

And, just got back from Ohio, and found a heat wave here at home. Broke out the mesh gear a little early!

Yeah, Ferret is right, one day +35*C, +10*C at night, the next day +19*C, and then rain or wind 40 km/h...all we need to complete this weather circle is snow...
This season, I only made about 2600 kms
