I agree. What a waste of time and effort. Black spoked wheels? On a CB1000R??? Sheesh. At least it’s a one-off. There is a home market 2019 CB1100EX that could have been used, OEM fork gaiters and all. Whatever, Honda.

BOOOOO. I agree that it should have been a CB 1100 but maybe one that looks like the Whitehouse kit with spoke wheels and a 4 into 4. I'd have bought one of those!

IMHO the only thing I like is the engine

Not surprised since the CB1000R is a cumulation of Honda's best practices over five decades and arguably represents the best of the CB evolution.

The CB1100 could arguably be seen as part of the journey toward the choice of the CB1000R.

It’s Honda Italy’s bike. The article notes that Honda corporate (which I assume means Honda Japan) is also likely to come up with its own offering.

Wonder what Honda-USA, Honda-Australia, Honda-Canada Tongue 50th choice will be?

I don't know about Australia or Canada, but knowing Honda-USA and their deeply heartfelt support for the CB1100, they'll probably go with a Grom.
