We ate dinner at George's, stayed at the Anchor Motel, then the next morning rode along North 1 thru a really cool medieval looking archway along the beach and ate breakfast at Java Madness before heading to Pennsylvania.

Wow, that looks cool! It would be worth the ride just to go under that weirdo building!

Going to spend a few days at Mom's to take care of some things around the house for her. Headed out after work tonight, and she said to eat dinner before I show up, so thinking of a beachside diner I like. If I can slide down there before sunset, I might be able to get some good shots.

By chance, I wonder if a railroad used to travel under it once upon a time?

It’s all that remains of a massive casino from a bygone era. Narragansett used to be similar to Newport; a summer haven for wealthy New Yorkers. I guess in some ways it still is. There is an old train station a few blocks away, but AFAIK, there were never tracks under the Towers.

My ancient phone wasn’t up to the task of capturing the sunset in Carlsbad this evening. Shame, as it was a rather interesting one. Here’s where I turned inland to head to Mom’s tonight to help with some chores.
