If I can run the table this year it will be 342 days. Jan and Feb can be iffy, but most of the rest of the year is passable if you can endure a bit of heat, cold or rain. I missed 13 days in January this year due to ice/snow and 3 days in February, other than that it's been a pretty good year for riding.

That's pretty amazing that you are able to do that Thumbs Up Thumbs Up
For the sake of safety and comfort, we just pack it in and bear the pain Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin
The long range forecast for our winter this year is more of the same as it is every year. Some areas may get colder weather and some may get warmer weather - and less or more snow.
How's that for being definite. 50% right most/some of the time Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin

if you are determined enough...there is NO end of riding season. See example below lol

" RIDING SEASON " is a term i only recently heard of and must say my wife and i both chuckled as she is the one always saying to buy another motorcycle [ a true keeper ] and we ride year round.
however I did ride year round while stationed at Camp Lejeune NC and the winters were brutal for a Florida boy so i do understand the individual decision to wait for better weather. also learned about " cold tires " and riding on frozen asphalt which enhanced my understanding of this decision.
you retired guys should trailer your bikes down for a mild winter like many snowbirds do Biker

That's pretty impressive to say the least, but icy roads, black ice, snow and perishing cold doesn't sound like fun to me.
It's bad enough that I sometimes have to go out in those conditions on four wheels that don't fall over.
Thanks, but no thanks, I'll bear the pain of winter storage and enjoy sunny summer days out on the roads while most still have their noses to the grindstone Big Grin
