SW Motech crash Bars, Honda Metal polish .

I think they are well within my pucker factor lean angle but we shall see once I get all healed up and the weather cools a bit.

Just installed SW Motech bars.
With which torque do you tighten 'front engine hanger nut'? Original bolt must be tightened with 59Nm, but new screw needs only 38Nm, as specified in the Motech parts list. I did it with 49 Nm, same as other nuts. Do I overtightened it?

Since this thread has made a comeback, how about an update on how long the polishing treatment took to revert to golded stainless color. Rboe? Wildezt?

Florent better a little tight than loose..

It took about 20-30 mins riding to bring it back to a shiny champagne gold... Which is also not bad ...

Hmm, I have not paid too much attention to it. On the Griso it was pretty much one ride. On the CB, well I have not really cleaned them up that much (number one header has some age spots on it that are starting up bug me). I strongly suspect that once the pipes get up to operating temps the deed is done.
I'm thinking, Don Vesco Rapid Transit sport touring fairing would make this a moot topic.
