I brought the CB1100 DLX into the garage with a Vespa 300 GTS and prefer to share the Monolock top case I have on the GTS rather than investing in a new setup. Issue is the Givi SR1118 chrome rack for the CB lists "Monokey only." Has anyone faced the same issue?

The monolock & monokey are a little different. But you could get the monolock universal mount plate for the honda rack. Might have to drill holes but I think it would mount easy

yep: the Honda rack + monolock universal plate is how I went with the '13. No drilling or any other kind of fabrication required.

I bought a Monolock and a universal Monolock mounting plate. It came with butterfly-like clamps that should mean it would attach to any rack. I originally mounted it on a Honda OEM rack on a Shadow with no troubles. Otherwise I'm sure you could improvise pretty easily.

I can post pics if you want.

Evan, when I bought the monolock, I'm pretty sure I had to buy the universal mount separately. Here it is with all the bits.

The piece with all the holes in it sits on the rack and then you attach it at the best fitting points with these butterfly bolts.

The wings sit under the bars on the rack and hold in on tightly. The square slotted washer holds the bolts in place in whateve hole you put them in. The piece you can see on the right in the first picture then clips and screws over the bolts. It looks like this on the bike.

Hope that's useful.
