Renthals finally installed

Finally stopped riding long enough to install Renthal low-rise bars
Drilling the holes didn't go exactly as planned.
Had to oversize the holes a bit, and found the "pins" in the switch clusters do a majority of the anchoring. Wrapped some electrical tape at clamping surfaces to keep things tight.
Choose gold color due to impending Ohlins upgrade.
Pros:
I like the look and the more aggressive riding position.
Cons:
Bars are shorter than stock bars, so brake line and throttle line rubbing on head light housing. Brake side mirror is farther inboard now.
They do put more stress on forearms and hands, probably not great for long range stuff.

Overall, I really like the look, so they're a keeper

Yes, I think they are a little more forgiving than stockers.
The first day bothered my hands and forearms, but since then no problems, did 5 hours the other day with no discomfort.

Looks really good. Not as far forward as a superbike bar. My 919 came with Fatbars which are motocross. They were too wide at 32 inches and not enough bend. But the renthal roads are all nice pieces.

Looks nice, Mickey 350D! You wouldn't happen to know the measurements of the bars you installed do you? Rise, pull back, and width?

It looks like you turned the risers around, moving the bars forward. Was that to get handlebar to fuel tank clearance at full lock ?
