Looking for some recommendations on a comfortable seat that absorbs some of the bumps of the road and is still stylish.

Preferably a cafe racer styling but, I will choose comfort over style.

Purchased this K&H seat off a member on this site. It's my "around town" seat. You ride a little closer to the tank and I think the cushioning was set up for somebody lighter than me. You can stipulate the weight you want it set up for when you order it. I consider it pretty comfortable with the understanding that after about 120 miles or so my behind is ready for a break regardless of what seat I'm riding on. Actually going to ride it for about 225 miles tomorrow through the mt's here in Utah.

120 Miles huh? That's better than I can get on the stock seat for sure! The stock seat gets me about 50 miles and then it just hurts to ride.

From my own experience and from what I gather here, I really don't think there's any seat that will be totally comfortable for 200+ miles. Some of the iron butt riders may want to chime in, but I think it"s simply a matter of building up butt endurance (OMG that statement is so ripe for comments).

Right but, I don't swing that way! ROFL

Oh and I disagree, I've had mustang Seats that I could go 200 miles on without having issues and those were my wife's favorite seats (Besides mine Big Grin).

My Daytona cafe seat is super comfortable and is wide. Depending on how tall your inseam is will also determine what seat will work best. I'm 5'11" with a 34 inseam and the seat fits me great. Very cool Retro cafe look for under 400.00.

For a multi-day ride I use an Airhawk. Day rides, even big days, OEM suits. I'm not fussed about changing the seat. But Cick design is looking more attractive for day rides. It has some carrying capacity and I like the look. Each to his own i guess.

Cheers
