Warranty against Fading

Are there any manufacturers that warrant their bags against fading?

None that I know of from the major manufacturers.

Too many adverse conditions that they have no control over, and would resulting in endless "Yes you did...No I didn't" claims.

That being said, there are many good bags out there that stand the test of time. I have Ventura luggage on my CB1100. The more I ride, the more it just might fade. Fair trade-off to me!

That's what I do with my black leather gloves.
After a summer of exposure to the sun they fade to grey so I break out the black spray shoe polish and bring them back to black.

Everything exposed to the sun will eventually fade so any warranty against fading is unlikely to ever happen.

I guess my next project will be to research leather bags and trunk. Leather seems less likely to fade than el cheapo fabric like I have now.

Leather had its' own issues. Was at the Indian dealer and they had this beautiful blue Chief with the tan seat and saddlebags. Weather cracked all over. So sad. Simply not taken care off.

Leather is also not very good at shedding water for very long, and it gets heavy and droopy when wet and takes a lonnng time to dry out. Ask the man who wears a leather jacket (like me)

Leather dye by a company by the name of, or close to, Friebings, is great.
Pure black is USMC black.
I like waxed cotton for shedding water.
I had red cortec bags on a previous bike, pink within two years! Kinda rough on the ego.
