REAR SWING ARM MODIFICATION

Hi there. Did any one here already saw modification of rear swing arm and if you did do you have any pictures of that modification? I would sure like to fit this motorcycle with 190 or 200 rear tire. When you look pictures from back side of motorcycle it seem like this bike wouldn't mind that kind of modification. It is very wide indeed.

For now i have plan to buy SUZUKI GXS 1400 but if i can fit 190 or 200 rear tire to this beautiful HONDA CB 1100 EX than i will buy new motorcycle and go directly to someone who is doing this kind of things.

Costs are not important. As long as swing arm does not lose its retro look.

i was looking into doing a similar thing to mines, i have a local shop who say they can get it done however i'm on the fence on wether or not i really want to spend that kind of money on. you should do it though, i think it would look sick.

Here is a CB1100 with a swing arm swap (see below) which I posted in another post about clip on's, this was the winner of the CB1100 build off competition that happened a little while back. This is exactly what I want to do to my '13 except keep the red tank. Hope this helps, You could reach out to Cycle Spot, the shop that did the work, they're located in New Zealand and have a Facebook page (I searched for Cycle Spot and found it pretty easily), thats where I found these Photo's of the bike. I hope somebody wants to take on this project so we can get a better angle of whats involved with the swap, I wanna do this along with the front end swap and will start buying parts maybe next year. Maybe we should stat a new thread and name it CB1100RR Thread lol...
