Tallest Factory Seat ?

Just wondered if there was a list on which was the tallest factory seat Honda has fitted to the CB1100 over the years and will any seat fit any model year/version?
On the UK honda site it lists the '17 RS as having a 795mm seat height with 130mm ground clearance http://www.honda.co.uk/motorcycles/range...tions.html
and the '17 EX as 790mm seat with 135mm clearance .

This seems to indicate the EX has a lower saddle than the RS as it should be taller with its greater ground clearance (due to 18" wheels?)

I think as far as we know there has only been 2 factory seats. The high seat that we get in the US (and other countries) and the low seat that they get in Japan and I don't know where else.

I don't know about the '17s as they pretty much just came out.

Well, that makes three, doesn't it? The DLX/EX seat is different from the standard seat. The DLX/EX seat is thicker, is it not?

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. I wonder if the seat heights are in the service manual. I'll have to check later.

As we have seen with gas tank specs. You can't take printed spec measurements as gospel. Even if they were, I wouldn't expect 5 mm ( less than 2/10 of an inch) to make much difference.
