My wife is about 5’10”. Says the pegs are too high. Anyone dealt with this yet?

There are some height adjustable pegs for the cb1100. I think swmotech sells them. I have them for the main pegs but I believe they have versions for the passenger too.

I put the Vario foot pegs on my bikes , rider only but they probably also have them for passengers.
Bought from Twisted Trottle.

Finally got around to lowering the passenger foot pegs on my CB.

Had bought these adjustable pegs off Ebay and didn’t like them. I have a taller seat now and I really didn’t need my pegs lowered anymore. But since my wife complains about how cramped the bike is I thought I’d try modifying them to fit the passenger. The only solution I could find online was $150 IIRC and ordering looked confusing.

Talked to my shift mechanic at the plant I work at we cobbled this together from my unused adjustable pegs and a spare set of passenger pegs I also bought off Ebay.

These only move the pegs an inch but a longer 50mm arm is available. Haven’t talked the wife into going for a ride yet but I’m anxious to see if it helps. (I have a feeling she just doesn’t like riding)

Have an honest talk with your partner and share your perception. You might be right and she might agree. At least there is clarity. Maybe she is uncomfortable riding. People change, get worried, get physically weak, get enthusiastic, etc. As a rider, there is no point putting ourselves in unnecessary situations where somebody could be hurt and they didn't want to be there in the first place.

I agree with you. I’ve pretty much given up on my fantasy of my wife and I touring on a motorcycle. It’s my obsession and not hers. (She might actually indulge me if riding did not mess up her hair.)

Like a lot of people tinkering sometimes appeals to me. Probably the only reason I completed the pegs.
