I'm thinking of exactly same touring screen.
How it behaves at 80-90 mph?

Riding for hours at speed 80+ mph on naked bike develops huge load on neck, which was a reason for me to visit doctor. I understand, the best option is probably to get some touring bike which is built for that purpose, but I love my CB, and I'm trying to find the way to fix the problem staying with the same bike.

From what I understand the taller screen isn't offered for the road comet any more.

Jurlie - I too find high speeds to be more of a strain on my neck than my body, did you end up finding a solution that works for the CB1100?

Unless things have changed, the Road Comet touring screen is not available anymore.

Someone recently checked with Takashi and he said he had 6 left, but RC was not making any more of them.

Wow. I routinely buy actual motorcycles for that kind of money.

I went ahead and bought the Road Comet through Webike as they had it available for $358 shipped to the US. Communication was not great, but I received what I ordered within a few weeks and it matches well with the bike.

The instructions are in Japanese, but there was a diagram that made it fairly self-explanatory with the exception of four thin brackets that I imagine could be used to change the position of the cowl, but in that case, I am not sure why there are four.

As installed, I think the cowl looks great but creates way too much wind noise at my helmet. I'm going to try and change the incident angle of the shield by finding a different lower bracket. In my opinion, that bracket should have been adjustable for user height/preference. Would love to know if anyone has already "optimized" this bracket for their use.

P.S. It's not at all clear why these pictures are on their side. If anyone knows how to edit that within the post, please let me know.

Pictures look fine. My road comet came from a member. Didn’t have those two brackets. Bolted right to headlight bucket side mounts. The. A small L bracket connected it down by the horns. No problem with buffeting in my case. Have standard height screen and am 6 feet tall.

'13/'14 CB has a great looking headlight - I think. The Comet kinda emphasizes it more.

The fairing works well enough for what it is. However, it twists side to side pretty badly. The cowl is made from chopped strand fiberglass and while heavy enough, is not that stiff. I reinforced the "wings" with strips of carbon unidirectional and can show the process if people are interested in making a more solid fairing that doesn't wobble around.
