I've been happy with it but haven't taken a long trip yet. I'm on the fence about getting bar risers since it move the seating position back and I'm leaning forward a little.

Looks like that is what I will get for mine. Did you order direct or from a Canadian dealer?

I ordered it from A Vicious Cycle in New Dundee, Ontario. They are now the Canadian division of A Twisted Throttle.

http://aviciouscycle.ca/MainPages/produc...uctid=7283 (Note: I talked to them in person, specifying the custom parameters for my seat)

The Canadian price may seem high initially, but I picked up the seat in New Dundee and avoided shipping charges. Dealing direct with Corbin would have been much more expensive when you factor in the exchange rates and shipping costs.

Thanks for the info. I have bought enough parts from vicious cycle for my KLR to build a complete bike I think! I will talk to them.

New shoes arrived last week and worth the help of WASMA were installed yesterday.

WASMA is the Washington State Motorcycle Association. They have a small non-profit shop that charges $20/tire for a DIY with supervision/help to change your tires in West Seattle.

That's a good price. Did you have to use irons (the worst) or did they have a machine for removal/ balancing.

They have a no-mar machine for changing the tires and a static balance rig. Plus all the hand tools you're likely to need. They basically did the work to change the first tire after I had it off of the bike. Then I did the second tire.

I have yet to ride in it much longer than an hour at a time. So far no issues with the seat compared to the stock one. But I really want to get in a 4-6 hour ride and see if it is comfortable for the long rides. It also moved me back a little resulting in a little more forward lean so I am thinking about installing bar risers to correct that.
