Extra turn signal on dash

Not sure how you feel about the turn signal lights on the CB dash, I think they are very poor as are most bikes I've owned except the Yam FJR.
I came up with this home made solution years ago and have moved this onto most bikes I've owned to stop me leaving the turn signal on or keep pressing the button to check they are really off.
So I installed it on the CB today.
Hope this short video works ok and shows how you can see it even if not looking at it and it even reflects in the screen so doubles the effect.

The one light works on left and right signals so just one is needed and if its to bright at night or not needed I just stick black tape over it.

Gave it the road test today and its in the perfect position to see if my turn signal is on in my lower vision while looking at the road ahead even in bright sunlight so no need to keep looking down or pressing the turn button to check.

Makes for safer riding with one risk less. What started me off on this route was years ago seeing a rider with his forgotten turn signal on and a car pulled out and knocked him off

Not a bad idea! I say that as someone who pulled up to my office door this morning and saw the reflection of my right signal blinking... hopefully I left it on from turning into the parking lot, and not way back when I was getting off the freeway.

If anyone is interested here's the electrical drawings.

Note: I wanted to avoid the front turn signals due to the running light function, so I tap into the rear turn signal wires.

The diodes and LED light can be purchased from any local electronic place.
I also noticed that HONDA is using a "Clutch Diode" in the fuse box, may be that one can also be used (very compact - looks like a fuse however, it is a 3-prong).
One can get the diode from a motorcycle recycler.
