Fender eliminator
#1

I just got a cb1100 and I’m considering a fender eliminator. Has anyone trie this one? I’m thinking it’s a universal one that will require some work to get on.

I purchased one on ebay for my CB.. $300 though. Good piece of kit but still had to mod it to fit the stock tail light.

IMHO if you're handy you can easily make one with a 1/4" aluminum sheet, a drill and some good fasteners. Maybe some tack welding if you're really crafty.

Hmm welding would probably eclipse my abilities. I’ve never really cobbled anything together like that.

You can always have some sheet aluminum cut and you can drill your holes and hand bend.. It's quite easy and cheap to do. Then spray it with crackle paint to make it look good. A trip to Ace and some TLC and you have a fender eliminator.
