Fwiw, using the stock o2 sensor will yield the best and most reliable results. You won't get real power gains without digging into the airbox and all that good stuff, so using the PCV is only going to cause you to burn more gas unnecessarily. If you can get the gnarly noise and keep your fuel range intact, that's a win.

Thats good to know. It seems to use enough gas as it is. I guess i was under the impression that if you install a full exhaust on one of these new fi cb1100 bikes you had to run the pcv to keep it from running too lean. Hopefully delkevic did thier homework and put the bung where the stock 02 sensor cable will reach.
Thanks again for all your help, These new fi bikes is all new to me.

A ton of us have our ECUs flashed by Guhls but they stopped the service earlier this year so you unfortunately missed the train on that one Sad

Hopefully someone else will pick up the ability soon since Guhls will no longer jailbreak our ECUs

I imagine with these bikes popping up on the used market and getting newer/younger owners in the coming years there will be more people interested in the tuning/aftermarket side. I think these bikes will be sought out for the future Cafe builders and such in another decade or 2.

so i guess this is how these delkevic exhaust fit ! Not very good! It looks like the whole thing should have had a little more bend in it and about an inch or so longer to allow the collector pipe to tuck up in place and line up to the mounting hole and still have the head pipes fit flush with the doughnut gaskets. I guess all i can do is snug the nuts down a little bit and see where it lies, then force it up a just a little bit and make a litle pc to connect them together. Kind of disappointed they couldnt have made these things fit better.

Photos? Exhausts can be a pain to install sometimes. After a little massaging and jiggling they may fit better

Also sounds silly but make sure one of the original exhaust gaskets at the headers isn't in there still and then you're trying to push the new gasket on the new headers against it. That could be messing with your inch of length if the headers arnt all flush in the manifold.

Outback - I had the same issues with fitment. It was not great. I actually didn't even bolt up the mid pipe because the pipe was too short to connect to the collector with the bolt in. I think another member fab'd up a bracket to get it to work.

Basically, these are your options:
1. Bolt everything up how it's designed and risk an exhaust leak between the mid pipe and the collector because the pipes are too short.
2. Install everything without the mid pipe bolted up (You will see the mid pipe bracket about an inch in front of the CB bracket)
3. Fab up a custom bracket to get the mid pipe to bolt up with all the pipes in their proper places.

This is just what we have to deal with when we buy the cheapest exhaust.

Oof. I went through this, and I had to do it twice! First I installed my delkevic end can on my stock headers, which took a very long time. Lots of "massaging and wiggling" as others have said. Then I had to take it off and do it again when I got my titanium headers. That was actually easier believe it or not. I did, however have a big problem with the clamp loosening and the muffler spinning on the pipe which caused me to go through two sets of carbon crush gaskets before Ordering one size smaller from delkevic and MASSIVELY torquing the clamp on with a hex head bolt and socket. After that everything was peachy but it was definitely an ordeal.

Tldr: you're not alone.
