Tire Sizes ?

Anyone running a taller front tire ? Like a 110/90 vs. the stock 110/80-18''. My dealer thinks it could rub a little. I was told that Avon did not make the 110/80 anymore. It would be a 10mm differance. Taller. I checked my front fender and it looks like it would fit just fine. I am looking at the Avon Am26 Roadrider tires. Please let me know. And God bless..

CA200 used to be a dealer and sold a lot of tires. If he doesn't chime in, you might PM him and see if he can offer any insight. He is very knowledgeable about tires.

Sure you want to run bias ply tires? Are you replacing both front and rear because mixing bias ply and radial is a definite no-no? The question we ask at our shop is: "Are you willing to buy two tires and pay for the mounting twice if the taller tire rubs"?
