Looking at the CB1100/s on wikipedia, it seems that the earli(er) models had significantly different tanks (and saddles). Has anybody experienced both configurations (may be changed his bike) ? I'd like to know whether there is more to it than just looks ?
Another question, if anybody has changed to the newer configuration, and the old tank and saddle is still sitting in his garage ... I might be interested in buying them.
Always safe rides !

Welcome to the forum j3gq.
As far as I am concerned there were only 2 different CB1100/OEM tank's shapes;
2010-2016 and 2017 & up (seamless) with some narrow variety of tank capacity, depending on the local regulations, from 14.6L to 16.8 L, if not mistaken. These should fit between models, however fuel pumps come with 3 or 4 pin connectors, so check yours.
Similar with the seats, DLX had a taller?? seat and if used on other models may??? slightly interfere with some garnish.
You can use forum's search engine to get all the info you need.
Maybe some others will chime in to comment...or/and correct me, especially with the seats.
