I wouldn't mind a water cooled bike.
I look at it this way- The water cooling not only allows emissions compliance, but manages engine heat, so it theoretically will extend the life of the engine.

I don't mind water cooled either but that radiator looks huge, almost as if they are proud to display it. A lot of cruiser guys would maybe opt for engine guards to hide it a little (if available). A little sleeker rad and that bike would be a real looker....

One look at the abomination Honda pulled to hide the radiators on the new Valk and the Scout doesn't look so bad.
There's just no telling from photos. The only bike that looks as good in photos as it does in real life is the CB.

MO's ride review is here:

It's got a few data bits and perspectives that weren't in the MD review.

Kind of interesting how the radiator shroud is an integral part of the frame. All in cast Aluminum.

They stated it's a small bike, similiar to the Bonneville. Our CB1100 is roughly the same size and weight. This baby has more HP.

Good one, it has a nice summary comparo with the XL. And a photo of it with bags and touring seats/backrests. I'm not a fan of the "Vintage Leather" style, but you can see the possibilities.
If they come out with a "standard" version, without the forward forward controls \ cruiser-slouch ergos, I'll be interested.
Anyone heard when some inventory will start showing up at the dealers?

The frame design would seem to lend itself well to easily done factory variations, tourer, standard or even a street fighter.
I read that it was expected in dealer showrooms around the first of the year. Definitely going to Speedweek at Daytona this year for a test ride.

If it was offered in a standard, I'd buy one. Standard bench style seat, standard type fenders, standard foot pegs, standard handlebars, and standard riding position.
Reviews have mentioned the engine in in a very mild state of tune, and 120 HP is within easy reach. I bet the standard could shed a few pounds. 17" wheels would be a plus.
