I like this bike, not crazy about the looks, but it would be a great road bike with good ergos. Biggest asset is the VFR800 motor, one of Honda's best but only available here with the "fetal position" ergos that don't fit with many riders.

I like it.
Should do well against the V-Strom everywhere but here.

I also like it because it's the Interceptor VFR 800 with more upright ergonomics and ADV styling. It's an "ADV" bike that admits it's really going to be ridden on the pavement and not across Buttfookistan.
There's a two Kawis I like that we don't get here. They probably wouldn't sell here anyway:

Rumor has the Versys 1000 coming in 2015
No such rumor for the W 800

I agree, great bikes from Kawasaki. The W800 is a better "Bonneville" than the current one, having a sleek and lithe look like the original. Would buy one in a heart beat.

Had a good look at the W800 when I was hunting around for a CB1100. Lovely bike.

The current CFR800X Crosstourer is a great bike. Having just tried also the 1200, I must say I prefer the 800. It has more than enough power, and weighs less. I don't like the looks, but the 2015 model looks a lot better. Fabulous do-everything bike. Sorry you don't get it in the US.

Who knows? Honda has two "x" bikes now. They brought back the Interceptor. They could bring this here too.
Or not.

I think it's ugly. Also do know why but the styling seems played out. IMO
