Thank You , I met Allain Toussaint about 10 years ago when he played in Asheville and had him sign a LP I brought with me with the Greatest Hits of Lee Dorsey. He was very surprised to see an LP from the sixties !

Hi, bought one last month with 201 miles on it. Sat under a tarp 6 years, so it is being made pretty again. I got a whopping 352 miles on it now. First thing I did was to change out the nasty smelling oil in it and put on Honda OEM oil filter. Then the plugs, 7 years old went to the trash, as did the 7 year old air filter. Now I am cosmetically replacing dulled and rusted parts. Have spent right at 2 grand on a new seat, pipes, etc... At the price I paid, it is still under the cost new. At 201 miles, the engine stilled needed braking in! I have been looking 2 years to get a DLX, to add to my family of CB's. I know how you guys feel about the Deluxe. I love the looks of the 2017, but with the old, larger tank and no spokes, it probably will become my daily rider soon. Enjoy!

That is a sad thing to contemplate - a Deluxe outside under a tarp! That's up there with animal abuse!! Angry

Unlike your other bikes, Dave, this one doesn't need extensive restoration! Knowing the quality of your work and your obvious discerning taste in motorbikes, I'm pleased to see a CB1100 in your garage. Good for you!
