Hi every body my name is jordan and i bought my 2013 honda cb1100 back in november 2013 and i just know noticed that the stock exhause on the left side had i giant dent in it like it honestly folds in on the left side of the exhaust now i am a very carefull rider and i know i didnt hit anything on the road does anyone know if this is a manufacture flaw or how it is supposed to be made to give a better point at this look at the stock exhaust its on the dent is on the left side and i just noticed it a couple of days ago PLEASE RESPOND ASAP thankyou and have a good day and one more question? when did you do your first oil change on the cb1100 ? That indentation is supposed to be there...for the fit/function

ok well i was very concerned i love this bikes its my very first bike and i love it to death and knowing how stupidly i sometimes dont pay attention i need to do an oil change and oil filter change pronto no riding until then

Welcome to the forum. If your dent looks like this:

then don't be concerned. It is a standard Honda CB '10/13 exhaust dent. I'm sorry I don't have the part number.

You're not the first to have a coronary after seeing the other side of the muffler! Try the search function if you can, you'll be amazed at how much 'stuff' has been covered here in a year

And apparently that dent allows you to change shocks without having to remove the exhaust. I had to remove my Staintune both times I changed shocks.
