To Protect And Serve.....

My new Road Comet 1 will be here in another few weeks. Before I mount it up, I want to give it a thorough coat or two of something to protect its finish. Here in the south, a couple times a year, we get to deal with "love bugs" which if left on too long will eat into paint. Plus the usual finish compromising road grunge etc.
Anyone have any thoughts on a product that would be good to consider?
I think with any luck, discussion could lead to another epic thread to rival oil, tires and who knows what else.

Mine too and I'm tired of waiting!

I plan to wax mine a few times before mounting and will more times afterward.
