Flat Tire I am Stumped!!!

Alright guys autozone had the cores. I did notice some bubbles when I put soapy water into the core area. replaced the valve core I see no more bubbles. Did a short ride lost no PSI. I have plugs but looks like I need to invest in those co2 fillers incase this happens again. Anyone have any recommendations for a tubless patch kit or co2 fillers that are small enough to leave on the bike?

Great! Glad you found the source of the leak. Hope you ruled out air leaks at the tire bead also.

I carry a generic plug kit with 2 sizes of plugs from an auto supply store, along with a CO2 flat filler kit with 3 cartridges (one or two cartridges are not enough to fill the rear tire). Bicycle shops have a greater variety, and are usually cheaper. Be sure you get one for Schrader valve stems. There's plenty of room to store these and more under the seat.

Glad the new core fixed it! That's great news. I go a different route when it comes to CO2. Instead of relying on cartridges, I carry a mini 12V compressor from a company called Dynaplug (they also carry plug kits). So far, with Murphy on my side, I've never needed it (knock on wood). It's about the size of two decks of cards,

I also am definitely interested in tire road repairs and one shot inflators.

My local tire store just handed me several schrader valves (cores) when I inquired about purchasing a supply.

Same here. I carry a Slime mini compressor. It fits under the seat (even with a tool kit). I keep the plug kit in a pocket of my backpack. Like you, I've also never had to use it, but I feel better knowing it's there if I should need it.

The micro pro has a screw on valve stem connector which I like better than the clamp on versions. It also has a port from which I can check the air pressure with a tire pressure gauge when the inflator is attached to the valve stem.
