Its been a long time coming for me. Luckily tire went flat while parked in the garage. Found the flat. This baby is heavy. Because the Harbor Freight dolly doesnt roll or turn well at all, I had just bought a used better cycle dolly and went to load the bike on it. It’s sad that Tampa “MotoMover” company went out of business during COVID, ….because She really demonstrated it well!

Just curious, does your Harbor Freight dolly have an extension for the sidestand?

Yes, but I didnt use it. I mounted a wheel chock on the front, instead of the sidestand extension. It is Heavy Duty, but the dolly wheels are crap, bearings are cheap, not enough steel balls - empty gaps and very little grease. I “syringed” alot of grease into the bearings … it helped a little. Most chinese products that require grease are always insufficiently lubricated.
The wheels on the black dolly are much larger and very high quality. No comparison IMO

Thanks for the pic and explanation. I have one of those HF dollies, hadn't thought to run it with a front chock. I know what you mean about the low profile wheels.

Moving from a three car garage to a two car has really made parking the CB a pain...not to mention my poor knees having to move the bike back and forth to get it in position. Bought a used HF Dolly a few weeks ago and had the same issue with the casters. Moving it wasn't too bad, but changing direction was difficult. I cleaned and greased the caster bearings, which helped somewhat. Any recommendations on how to improve them appreciated.

The other option is to park the CB outdoors all year round and throw a good quality cover over it.
It would help eliminate substandard dolly wheel bearing issues.

I had purchased four higher quality, same size steel wheels that had better bearings from HomeDepot. They are still in the bag. I’ll be returning them as I won’t be using them now. Finding better wheels for the HF dolly might be the only remedy for you. I should have studied the dollies better, before buying the HF model but Im glad I found this quality used one. The seller had a heavy Goldwing on the MotoMover and it moved around very easily.
And I have a large enough garage so I’m able to keep the CB1100 out of the weather. Another option was to get a better dolly and “unload” this one to someone with a lighter dirt bike AND …
I’ll be giving my HF model away (a FREE project) …. all parts included / pickup only - Louisiana

I was messaged on how I was lifting the rear of the bike?
I saw this on internet, a unistrut trolly. I needed my hoist for easier lifting on my zero turn to do the blades and to put heavy things up on my workbench. Then after buying the CB1100 I found I could spin the wheels easily using axle straps and small spreader bar. I still have trouble with the center stand.
I lag-bolted the the unistrut to the ceiling joists. All parts (hangers, trolly rollers and end stops) are readily available on the internet. 10’ unistrut stalks available at Lowes / HomeDepot. And I already had the electric hoist …. Works great.
