Bye Bye CB

About that “fuel enricher” knob.
If you hit the start button when she’s cold and the starter just half-cranks repeatedly and doesn’t turn the engine over, pull that knob out a notch. It’ll start.

I don’t know but maybe Triumph built in a synthetic hard starting circuit that “pulling out the choke” fixes.

As for the oil filter, pretty handy that the Bonneville and CB1100 use the same filter. If you have any left over from your CB they’ll fit.

I didn’t know that Go, about the filters . How do you go about cross referencing the fit ? I also have a 2020 Triumph Speedmaster and curious about the filter swap.

Always pull out the "choke" one notch, and drive for a block or two before pushing it back in. Hasn't been cold enough here to pull it all the way out (did that sound strange?) Got a Hi Flo oil filter for the fall oil change.

I only pull out the choke knob if the bike doesn’t start and instead exhibits the half-crank issue. I figure the efi system adjusts everything however it must want to.

For the filters, I run a Mahle 0575 which cross references to Triumph and Honda. Not sure about the newer Triumphs like a 2020, but good to go on the air cooled engines.
