Hmm, never heard anyone comment negatively on the heads before. I always looked at them as being a feature of character, like the inline 4 on the CB, very individual.

Strike. Pump and wind, keep the tip up, pump and wind.

Thanks, Alan. Smile

You will see from the above that I have base concerned with weight - that has two main elements:

1. Manoeuvrability in the garage: I have seen bike 'dollies' that make this much easier on the net - does anyone use them?

2. I have a gravel drive...think I'm just going to have to suck that one and see, but does anyone else have the same challenge?

Thanks

I just went a few miles up a forest service road yesterday. No issues.

A whole new "angle" on Ptero. A fine kettle o' fish this.

The weather in the UK put paid to my ride: Storm Katie (or some such nonsense), high winds....and snow. At the end of March.

So Ptero - struck, pumped and wound...but the tip's not up (yet). This is a deep pool.

Ptero was fishing with his Guzzi and Beemer cylinder heads comment. He caught Chapomis cause Chapomis just bought a Beemer. Took me a while to figure it out too.

He described the action of casting, setting the hook and reeling him in rather cryptically. Well played.

The Redbirds joined in with the " angle" ( as in angler or fisherman) and kettle of fish comment.
Another cryptic post.

Sometimes you have to ponder to understand these guys, and sometimes I think they are just fishing for attention. ( see what I did there?) lol
