Ecu is in, and of course it just started to rain ️

Going to fire it up now on the new ecu on the center stand. Half tempted to take it out on the wet roads.




Next I have to bring this back to life, stupid carbs!

Fired it up. Clicked into first on center stand- let it run a couple minutes to flow some oil. Then clicked through the gears rolling on the throttle.

Yea- no more speed limiter, buried the needle at 120.

Somewhere it kicked a CEL. Yeah!! My first bike MIL, fun.

Time to do a quick google how to figure out what it is unhappy about.

Not that the Honda engineers ever expected a flog on the center stand.

Much less with what I am messing with.

Yo Pete - many beers in again.

Ridem32 tested his DLX reflash on the centrestand. Don’t recall he got a CEL.

Carbs are mechanical...time + practice = success for sure..
Beer is being poured into few barrels, so your throat can be reflushed as your ECM was

I have had an absolutely horrible day with all sorts of things going on beyond my control and unexpected so no time to play with the bike.

I am about to head out for a quick 30 minute ride, first time on tuned ecu, I need to stop at a gas station – but will report later this evening about any differences both felt and shown on the fuel trim table.

Again total running time will probably be 20 minutes, barely enough to get oil temp up.

Ugh.
