Hondadawg, we all have to take people as we find them, I guess. I haven't dealt with Mr T personally, but I have read hundreds of posts on this forum written by members who have had nothing but excellent and prompt service from him. Indeed, until I saw your post, I don't think I'd read anything negative.

I don't think he was trying to tell you that he doesn't have the parts. I think he was saying they are not available anywhere.

Today I took the clips from the stock seat and transferred them over to the Daytona cafe seat. They fit with no issues to the seat but they don't make the Daytona seat clip in tight like the stock seat. The Daytona seat pan sits lower than the stock seat pan so there is wiggle room (slack) between the clips and the metal anchor point for the clips. The seat still moves about the same with the clips on or off. For now there is no real noticeable difference other than the seat is a little more secure but when on the bike it makes really no difference anyway.
