Searching for parts
#1

I recently purchased the Daytona Cafe seat and it came without the clips that attach it to the frame.. I have searched everywhere I can think of and they are not depicted in any of the schematics I've found. I can swap them from my old seat but I would really like to keep it where I can just swap the seats back and forth without changing the clips everytime. Does anybody know where I can find them ?

I bet Takashi can help you. He works closely with a lot of Japanese aftermarket vendors. If you purchased from Webike I'd offer to pay him for new clips.

I got my Daytona cafe seat from webike with no issues at all. Why did it not come with clips? Are you sure it's not the way it should be. I'm assuming you bought it new from them? If the seat came incomplete why don't you just email them, send them a photo and have them send you what you need. I don't know what clips you are talking about, my seat is one whole piece.

I just looked at a photo of my stock seat - so you're missing the two metal clips Hondadawg1?

The seat was advertised without the clips therefore it wasn't incomplete. They are two metal clips in the middle of the undeside of the seat that slip under a cross brace when you slide the seat into place. I'm still trying to figure out how to post pics on here but if you look down a post you see the clips on the stock seat.

I've had my Daytona cafe seat on my bike for two years and didn't even know about these clips. Seems to work fine to me. I'll pull my seat tomorrow and check it out. I still have the stock seat so I can just switch them out if need be.

If the stock ones from the stock seat are transferable then you should be able to just order them from Honda

uscg, those clips are not listed or shown on the parts fiche. That's the problem.

This is how the seat is advertised and sold. Without the clips.
