Make that 4 CB1100's. I live in SE Idaho and much of that area is local to me.

Sounds like a great trip.Nice pics.I was wondering how your MRA windscreen performed, and how well you like it.With only handlebar attachment points is it stable (no flutter/vibration) at high speed? Does it hold it's angle well? Air flow Over the top of your head? Handle crosswinds well? Which particular model is it? I didn't see a KBA designation on their website, since I'm looking for basically a highway screen of the various models listed to fit CB1100 the Highway Shield "HI" and Roadshield Classic "ROC" appear to be almost identical to the one on your bike.It appears to be lightweight which is good, don't want to turn my bike into a tank or stratofortress.

It's a MRA VNB screen. NB stands for naked bike. I'm real happy with the stability of the screen at high speed. It doesn't move around in crosswinds or cause the bike's steering to be affected either. I have the screen set at its medium height. There's some adjustment further up and down. Air flow wasn't over my helmet however. I had lots of bug hits in the upper one third of the helmet. I am 5'10" but "long waisted" with just a 29 inch inseam. I was also sitting on a beadrider seat.

It's all a compromise and all relative. I suffered less wind discomfort on this 2800 mile trip than I expected with the CB. I also I own a Goldwing so that's my comparison. Wind direction was less important than I thought it would be but I must admit a strong preference for tailwinds.

Hm,hit the wrong key and think i just erased my reply.Try #2,Thanks for the info, just looked it up and think a one piece of similar dimensions will suit my cheapskate needs and give similar performance, about 90 bucks less, i'm 5'7" so that should keep the bugs off my face.
