Beautiful. I had the same color. It looks like you kept everything original, congratulations for that.

RE: CB1100 Monthly Photo Challenge

Had to grab a few more before months end. Found in Chico.

This lovely lady graces the side of a local taqueria.

This fading rendition is of the Gianella bridge brings back memories. It was replaced as the highway 32 bridge over the Sacramento River back in the 70's. It was a narrow 2 lane that was designed carousel style to allow river traffic. Back in the day paddle wheelers ran up the river as far as Red Bluff carrying freight and passengers. They used to clear the channel annually with blasting and dredging. Now you need a jet prop to fish the river.
I was riding in the seat behind the driver on a school bus returning from a football game one night when we met a truck on the bridge. We had to squeeze it a bit and clanged the right side mirror against the bridge, by far the most exciting play of the evening.

This was originally painted on the end of Taylor Hall on the Chico State campus by fledgling artist John Pugh. It launched his career, check him out on the web. Taylor Hall was subsequently demolished and Pugh repainted it on the new structure at the same location 30 years after the original.
