Have a look at Hagon.

They have a good selection of shocks but I went with the Nitro.

They are fantastic. They've made a great deal of improvement to the handling of the bike and they look great as well...

They are made in the UK in London and I collected mine from the factory. They have an outlet in the USA:

The guys there made the shocks to order for the CB1100 and I fitted them there so they could check out the fit. It was spot on.

I've since moved up to a heavier spring, which was changed for me.
I also had extra damping added while I was at it. Solo, they were perfect but I was getting to the limit of the spring when I was two up with luggage.

With the heavier spring I should now be in the range of adjustment for solo and full loaded, which is great.

The nice thing about them is that they are strippable and re-buildable, so you can change and up-grade when and if you need to.

Not sure how they compare in price to the Ikons but they were reasonable.
They are extremely helpful guys there and worth a look...

So which Hagon model was used for the CB1100? They don't list our model in their stock model listing.

Hi Jambo, I got in touch with them and asked for the shock for the CB. I thought they might have it listed now but they knew the bike and size and made one up for me. Are you in the UK or USA?
