it would still probably be best if someone gave the shop a CB1100 to work in person as they tweak the ECU and verify on Dyno, so they can get best results, if they had weekend hours I would think about dropping mine off, maybe someday will do this.

Well if your not running a power commander or other fuel maping device I could see how that would help so they could program the ECU with a proper fuel map but in my case I have a power commander im just going to have the limiters removed and take it to the local dyno shop to get tuned after.

Cip57: what is top speed? Or what have you had yours up to? I think the bike should hit around 130mph. Also what what about red line RPMS ?

The group that cooked up Ducatidiag came up with GuzziDiag (and along with a reader, writer and TunerPro; you can read and save off your current map, burn a new one and edit your map to tweak it yourself) for Moto Guzzi engines.
I've just started playing with it; with the goal of increasing torque and low end power while gaining mileage. All you need is a couple cables, the software and a computer (I use a laptop, OS' supported are Windows, MacOS and Linux so you are covered - except TunerPro which is Windows only).

Makes me wonder if a CB1100 version (or generic Honda version) could be cooked up.

Ok guys just talked to Don sending my ECM to him for reflash !! Doing the 500rpm increase and killing the speed limiter and just doing the stock reflash to make it run better thru all gears! No pc5 map ! Mine will be just what the bike should be without any EPA guild lines !

I want my bike to run like a real stock 1100 should run thru all gears! Will let y'all know when I get it back. After mine he will have done a 13 and 14 model

call him back, you should do the PCV fuel map, it fills in the lean low/mid range, everyone who has had it done loves it!!!! Don't miss out, tell'n ya.
Notice the % fuel increases below, you want these.
