Is the throttle response on the FZ as abrupt as all the magazines say?

It was, until the factory released a reflash, and the suspension was also as crap as the reviews said. I replaced the suspension, and it's now a razorblade. That bike just wants to be ridden hard, she isn't much fun slow.

The CB is a big heavy slow pig in comparison, but she's going to be my geezer-glide. when I want to hooligan, I'll take the FZ. When I want to just ride,and enjoy myself, I'll take the CB.

That's the one necessary modification on all my toys, somewhere inside or outside, is a steal your face.
