I hope you were cautioned before you wrote this, Ferret. You know ... "anything you say will be taken down and may be used against you." Thumbs Up

Have to say I agree with Guth on this. I prefer the looks of the '13 to the '14, but as they say, looks are very subjective and a strong case can be made for the looks of either bike. The '13 looks sportier to me, the '14 has more of a classic retro look to it. Then again, I've never seen a '14 in the flesh, so I'll save my final judgement 'til I do. Both fantastic bikes either way.

I have a 36" inseam, so as is the bike does get a bit tight on long rides. I picked up the Buell lowered pegs from a fellow inmate here and they are the bees knees. Still on the todo list; a LAMM Custom seat. With the lowered pegs I have lost some urgency in getting the seat done though. Since the stock seat is good for about an hour for my bum the custom shape will be nice. The extra height is not as critical now. Once the new seat is in I "may" go back to the stock pegs as I like the larger rubber covered sized pegs.

At this point I don't see a need for bar extentions (I have a windscreen too, mid sized NC that takes a lot of wind off the chest - critical for long rides on the freeway with the newer higher speed limits. Not needed at 55-65.

I noticed the buzz too, at first, now it does not seem to be all that noticeable. I give credit to a bike breaking in and me getting used to it. In any event, unless you are sensitive to vibrations (and some folks are) I don't think this will be a long term problem for you.

Apparently the four into four exhausts are already available: [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uL6GmnRmI9o]Honda CB1100 with Pipemasters 4 into 4 polished stainless steel exhaust

Love the look!

Are kits already available in the US to convert the four into one into four into two/four? If so how much are they going for?

Thanks

Of course I'd support the Pipemasters brand as it's local, but there are also these ones on a French site, http://www.vintagebike83.fr/boutique/ech...da-cb1100/

I had for 20 years a st. st Pipe Master 6 into 6 on a Honda CBX and loved the sound and build quality.
On that one I could keep the center stand, this is a must for me.
The video seems to show that the center stand is gone.

I believe that's the Wyvern 4 into 4. Samurider sells them for around $2400.

I do like the 4n4 pipes would look better if they had the guards ( heat shields) on the mufflers. But $2,400 ouch
Michael
Opps just zoomed in on the pics they do have the guards on the top pipe Smile

As The ferret mentioned, the locations of the signal switch and the horn button annoy me too. Why didn't Honda leave well enough alone Huh
On the ride home from the dealership last week I kept blowing the horn when I wanted to use the signals. I hate taking my eyes off the road to see what I'm doing, but I suppose in time it will become instinctive again.
