As you will see from [url=http://cb1100forum.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=16007&pid=275622#pid275622]this post, none other than the famous In-house Bob has already manufactured a one-off "RLET Racing T-shirt for the Ferret.

Note the use of the singular. I think it's acceptable, as would be the use of "RLETs Racing". Indeed you might want to go with the plural version to try to protect yourself from the possibility of Inhouse Bob belligerently protecting his copyright. Big Grin

As a recently converted believer in RLETs, my contribution is that in the phrase “RLET Racing”, RLET acts as and adjective and therefore should remain singular.

Gee, mjwasti, I think we might require the skills of a competent grammarian here. pdedse? Someone? Isn't RLET Racing a compound noun?

I'm struggling to think how to use RLET as an adjective except, perhaps, in a phrase—e.g. "Arnie looked very handsome in his fitting-like-an-RLET t-shirt"—but it's a bit contrived. "RLETs Racing" makes me think of RLETs' racing, which could be a fun spectacle. I'll bet the little suckers can go.

All of which is a long way of saying that, for lots of reason, the best name for EmptySea's and Inhouse Bob's CB1100 racing outfit ends up being RLET Racing.

So. Foolish Newbie here started reading this thread.
I realised, soon in, that I needed a strategy if I were to get through it and remain sane.
So I've made the decision to split the saga into 11 Series of 14 episodes each and will limit my binge reading to a series at a time.

I've made it through Series 1.

I stopped when I found myself doing an ebay search for 95010-16001...

The path to enlightenment can be long and challenging.
An installed set of RLETs is worth 143 pages of context and may make the reading even more understandable. Now that you have uncovered the secret numbers you have taken a first step.
