Another appears to sometimes be leaving the battery on a trickle charger. That is not required when in seasonal storage with no-load (e.g. no theft alarms on the bike, etc.).
Thanks for listing these drawbacks, GO. Compared to most other applications of Li-Ion batteries, bikes do have a parasitic draw (.02mA max on 2017 EX, .01mA max on earlier models), due to clocks, and meter memories, and through the regulator.
I looked up Anti-Gravity's price for CB1100, and it was $199, plus a dedicated charger at $36. It looks like it saves 6.0 pounds over the $188 OEM Yuasa. However, while I've had good luck with Yuasa in the past, their YTZ series don't seem any better than bargain equivalents at less than $50.
