How to know if there's current leakage or battery is dying?

Zirconxi i remember you had a multimeter when you tested the crank sensor?
If you disconnect the negative battery terminal and connect the multimeter inbetween the minus battery terminal and the cable you should only measure 10 mA max. of current with the meter on the dc current position and the key switched off.
If you have hiss the meter will indicate with every blink but that should only last for 24hours, after that the led should stay off.

Testing without a meter; disconnect battery negative for a long period and see if the battery still holds enough charge to start the engine
