It is truly hit and miss, in particular to the hardware interface as features and build quality range dramatically across market offerings.
It is not clear if you get what you pay for since some riders have had success with really cheap offshore Bluetooth-to-OBDII adapters and say used with Torque/Torque Pro, while others with other more premium combinations had no success.
