You might have seen this before, or know it otherwise. Yet to me it seems that this [url=https://ridematerial.com/motorcycle-obd2-complete-guide/]article is providing an interesting summary.
Interesting j3gq. I know Lord Popgun has the Healtech reader for his bike(s).

Yeah, the same issue for the Honda Africa Twin. It is truly hit and miss, in particular to the hardware interface as features and build quality range dramatically across market offerings.

It is not clear if you get what you pay for since some riders have had success with really cheap offshore Bluetooth-to-OBDII adapters and say used with Torque/Torque Pro, while others with other more premium combinations had no success.

Hi, I have a couple of questions to ask owners of the HEALTECH OBD-H01 KIT.
Does the tool just read or can it also change the parameters?
Is it possible to have the standard parameters of the cb 1100?

It is currently on offer at € 134.00 and it appeals to me ....Smile
It just reads data. Understand you need a Windows pc to use it. The device plugs into your bike’s DTC connector and the other end to your PC. You download the Healtech software and then run it. They update it occasionally too and updates are free.

You can record runs and play them back at your leisure.

The software comes with some sample files from various bikes. You can download the software without buying the device and play the files to see how it works.

Enzo i have a healtech obd-h01, it works reliably with my older cb1100 (2010 ) and cb1000r (2020 )
From memory it can read data, erase fault codes but not alter settings in the icu.
The software is free to download and install, you can see the functionality of it without connecting the interface ( which it only is, usb to 4 pin connector for Honda ).

It's been a little while since i have used it but it has the ability to " wake up " the k line and then communicates over it, the k-line protocol is a 0 to 12 volts pull down system supplied by the ecu.

Previous to that i have tried a bluetooth obd 232 dongle with an adapter lead which connected but could not wake up the k-line in either bike via the "torque lite " app. hence the healtech device.

The fault codes can also be erased by using a simple wire and a sequence of operations without the use of a "scanner".

Seems Popgun and me were doing a stereo post!
Hey Max! How’s it going down there? Did you hear the volcano go off?

I forgot it does reset fault codes. Glad you mentioned that.
