As an aside, the clutch cover screws on my '65 YDS3 Yamaha had never been unscrewed., in 57 years - they were rock solid! A JIS screwdriver wouldn't shift them and neither would a JIS bit in a manual impact driver. Then I spotted an electric impact driver (in Lidl, a cheap shop in the UK) and on a whim I bought it. What a lifesaver! I rattled round all the case screws and they were off in a trice !
