Joola, Im also in the Los Angeles area and ran into the similar situation with my local dealers. I made what I thought was a great offer (11K OTD for standard model) and I was willing to up it by a Franklin, but they wouldn't budge, blink or smile. I tried all my usually successful techniques (i.e. feigning disinterest, "like it/but dont really need this bike", "other bikes i'm intereted in"....etc----I could have won an Academy Award) and I casually walked out the door to wait patiently for the "come back" call that never came.
I am wondering what you ended up paying "OTD" and for what model (ABS/Standard). I am suspecting that the LA dealers communicate with each other about the CB and that prices will remain high for the few they have. Even if they hold on to them longer than they wanted to.
