Been there and done that myself.One of my buddies had a Yamaha Warrior and he hammered on that thing constantly. He was getting 26-28 mpg out of it. Now thats pretty bad for a motorcycle. He has since gotten a lot older (like I havent) and can get 50+mpg out of a Victory 106 under the right conditions. Funny how that age thing works.

That's some spectacularly bad gas mileage, even for a Warrior. I've got an '09 in the garage next to the CB, and even when I'm hammering it I don't normally get below 33-34 mpg. On the same bike with SWMBO on the back, I get 48-52 mpg, depending on traffic.
My last fillup on the CB (2 hours ago on my way into work), I got 43 mpg. I only really commute on the CB, no highway, but I work nights and only go about 11 miles so traffic isn't usually a huge issue. Just all the red lights I end up stopping at.
