Check out the Nighthawk Forums at http://nighthawk-forums.com/ .
They've got a regional section for the U.S. and an International section.
They've also got a "member map" function, but it's operation is spotty and doesn't work for a lot of browsers. Possibly because of the same Google issues you ran into.
