A bad seat is a good excuse to get off and explore the area. Some of the best memories I've ever had came from finding something I wasn't looking for and didn't know could be there.

But if you're set on staying on the bike the whole while, a touring bike would probably be more comfortable. Though I recon the CB seat will be a lot more comfortable than the VFR, least by the looks of it.
