I agree! I never pay for a warranty for anything and I figure with all the money I've saved over the years that I can afford to replace anything that fails and I'm still money ahead.

Very good points. Over here in England car manufacturers make a big song and dance about their class leading 5 and 7 year warranties, particularly firms like Hyundai and Kia. What people overlook is that the car MUST be serviced by them for that whole time, at main dealer labour rates, and using genuine parts.
That will more than outweigh the cost of the warranty they give you, in additional over inflated servicing costs.
I won't bother, it's like when the guy at the dealership asked if I wanted tyre insurance, I explained that since I was buying an old mans bike, I'd skip the tyre insurance to leave some danger and jeopardy in my boring life!
