How are you going to add it to the registry ?

Early in proceedings, people started posting their VINs to a thread and CA200 compiled them into a list. He was doing the sorting manually, so I put them into a spreadsheet for him and, with remarkable dexterity, he handed over his work to me. That was not the plan at all, but I was so impressed, I've kept going with it.

So, I try to track posts of VINs and put them into a [url=https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AlRYSET40JT7dGtUV3VLTURNeFlhRXZiREdoaUNrWWc&usp=sharing]spreadsheet in Google Docs which I have shared through a link on the forum. I'm the only one who can change it.

VIN# 0229 Block# 2916. That's if I got the right part of the number. The whole number is SC65E-5202916 and SC65 is the series number, I think.

Edit: Yes, thanks Cormanus. Also, If I haven't said this before, that black with silver engine and wheels is the sh*t!

Thanks for the compliment on the bike. We were luck to get 4 colours in Australia. The black and silver is pretty damned nice. That said, I can't get over how good pretty much any CB1100 looks. As Guth said in another forum, Honda really nailed the design

This is the honda cbx bikes notice that the forum list is more accurate than honda is on the charts! The members have found VIN # 11 a sandcast cbx which was just found about a month ago. It's just good to try to keep up with the VIN #,s and motor #,s for later years from now. I think in 30 years from now the 13 & 14 models cb1100 will be rare collector models. 13 being the first year made. & 14 being the first year with 6 speed and deluxe. But we will have to wait and see

I hate to be pedantic, Michael, but actually Honda sold CB1100s in Japan and Australia from at least 2010. They took a couple of years to get to the US.
